About Fat Turkey Chocolate

Fat Turkey Chocolate was founded in 2001 by Jennifer Holberg. She began making chocolate with her mother Kathy Holberg after they attended a chocolate making class together. Jennifer and her mom perfected their truffle flavors and after making it for their friends and family, they insisted that she should go into business with her fine gourmet chocolates.

Now, Jennifer, and her husband Steven have teamed up to launch The Fat Turkey Chocolate Company in Austin Texas. They hope to have retailers in Austin and many other cities across Texas. Chocolate lovers are now able to purchase chocolate truffles and other specialty items from their on-line shopping cart.

Their philosophy on chocolate making is simple. They use only fine Belgian chocolate, premium liqour, fine liqueurs, Texas wines, quality alcohols, fresh cream and premium spices in all of their products. None of their products contain preservatives or added sugar and are best enjoyed fresh.

Steven and Jennifer are currently manufacturing their chocolates at The Kitchen Space a commercial kitchen facility in Austin. They hope to attract new retailers and grocers for their fine chocolate truffles, chocolate coffee beans, marinated chocolate covered cherries, chocolate sauces and other products.

Their product line has recently expanded their offering to include gift baskets, and other specialty items(most of which can be shipped) in addition to their award winning handmade chocolate truffles and habanero chocolate sauce.
